La Droga "Felicidad"
No, don´t worry about me, I am not on drugs. I think the way I feel right now is even better than being on drugs (I guess, I have never tried it of course!!! By the way, I even gave up chocolate, at least for the moment). Seriously, my life here is fantastic and I couldn´t be happier. Everyday I am enjoying sunshine and I don´t think I could ever get sick of it. I go skating on the beach while watching the sunset and there is always a light breeze. What else, I also feel like I am more social than I have ever been in my entire life. There are always people around me and I really enjoy their company.
But maybe I should comment a little on my photos down there! First of all, those are just a few photos from my trip to Menorca, but I hope you will enjoy them. Anyway, it takes about 2 hours from Port de Alcudia (on the eastern shore of Mallorca) to Ciutadela (on the western shore of Menorca). When we arrived in Ciutadela there was this wonderful light due to the sunset (as you can see on the photo!). The first thing we did, we rented a motorcycle and then went straight into a Tapas Bar. Mmmmh, I love tapas: fried octopus, austers, fried potatoes and liver, majonaise with garlic, more types of sea food, baguette and along with that a nice Galician wine, what else could one wish for (see photo!). After that we headed off to our first "hotel". We always chose the hotels with "vista al mar" (ocean view), of course! Guess how much we paid, nothing. We all brought our sleepingbags along so that we could spend the nights on the beaches under skies full of stars. It seriously was just as beautiful as it sounds. We got to see quite a bit of Menorca. Those five days also felt like an intensive Spanish course. I spent all the time with Spanish people. I am now starting to adopt to their way of life, I am "afraid". I really try to enjoy the moment and I am being extremely spontaneous these days which might bother a few of my German friends, but I guess they have to get used to it ;-)
Of course, many more things have happened since then, but first let me post some more photos so that I can comment on them!

so langsam könnte ich echt nen rappel bekommen. das wetter ist ausgerechnet heute, wo ich das fahrrad nehmen muss (auto noch kaputt, bremsbelege runter, ersatzteile heute abend erst da) und in dings da ist es, wenn ich das richtig verstanden hab, so tolles wetter das man nachts draussen verbringen kann ...
btw schnitzel mit pommes ist wohl durch kein geschiss aus dem meer zu toppen! :)
p.s. warum ich frei schnauze schreibe ohne nach zu denken? weil ich informatik studiere und das an einer fh, ich darf nicht intelligent sein.
